CARANA is continuously seeking Gender Specialists for short and long-term assignments worldwide that have demonstrated experience designing strategies and interventions that increase the understanding of gender integration issues in private sector development.
Qualified candidates will have strong technical skills and experience addressing gender issues throughout various economic development projects, in-depth knowledge of international donor agency regulations, at least 5 years prior international work experience, a graduate degree, excellent English language skills and fluency in other languages. Candidates should be familiar with gender perspective methodology and surveys, should be able to organize and deliver advocacy training and campaigns on gender issues, conduct gender analyses to better integrate gender into project development, and prepare gender strategies that will create enhanced opportunities for women in the public and private sectors.
